Cost to move a villa in Dubai

Villa moves cost more than apartment moves for a straightforward reason: more rooms, more furniture, and usually more distance between the truck and the front door. Below is a general estimate range by villa size, plus the factors that move the price up or down within that range.
Note: the ranges below are general estimates for planning purposes, not a quote. Your actual price depends on your specific villa, access, and inventory, request a free survey for a fixed price in writing.

Typical villa moving cost ranges
| Villa size | Typical range (AED) |
|---|---|
| 2-bedroom villa | 2,500 to 4,500 |
| 3-bedroom villa | 3,500 to 6,500 |
| 4-bedroom villa | 5,000 to 9,000 |
| 5-bedroom+ villa | 7,000 to 13,000+ |
What moves the price within that range
- Packing scope. Full packing, materials and labour included, costs more than moving pre-packed boxes only.
- Distance. Cross-emirate moves, for example Dubai to Abu Dhabi, cost more than moving within the same city.
- Access. Gated communities, narrow access roads, or villas without direct truck access to the door can add time and therefore cost.
- Furniture disassembly and reassembly. Large wardrobes, beds, and TV units that need to be taken apart and rebuilt add labour time.
- Storage. If you need short or long-term storage between homes, that’s priced separately from the move itself.
Why we quote a fixed price instead of an hourly rate
Hourly-rate moves create a strange incentive: the slower the move, the more you pay. Star Edge does a free survey first, then gives a fixed price in writing before move day, covering the inventory, access, and packing scope we discussed. If something changes on the day, you’re not the one absorbing the surprise.
